My good friend Fred W0FCM went SK last Friday surrounded by family.

There will be an "on the air" memorial service on this Thursday the 31st at 8PM on the local linked repeaters.  So my time at the meeting will be short as I have to attend and help administrate this memorial service.

Fred was an elmer to a LOT of hams that got into Allstar/Echolink and linked repeater systems and he is responsible for me getting back into Unix/Linux.  He was known far and wide and was always willing to help someone get into these modes of operation.

Fred will be sorely missed.

When I was still in Baytown, I would hear Fred and his daughter, Lillian, KN5LRM, on the 443.825 in Houston.

Good folks!
