SKYWARN Training
« on: July 04, 2017, 12:50:24 am »
At our last club meeting, the subject of SKYWARN training was raised.  The Bellville (W5SFA) club reached out to us and asked if we had some folks that might be interested in a class as they needed more people to make it worth it to put together.

So far, the list consists of - Lee, K5FLM, Brian, KG5ONW, Gary, KF5ZRT, Tom, W5CVK, Jim, WA5CIA, and our newest member Lee, KG5SYY all expressed an interest in the class.  I would add to that list, myself, My wife, N5VGE and our son who doesn't have a call sign yet as possibles depending on scheduling.

It isn't chiseled into stone yet, they are in the planning stages, but at least we could give them a short list of folks that were interested in taking a SKYWARN class to become certified spotters...

I hope they are able to put something together for us all!  I will post updates to this when they become available.
